Notable Changes from the Previous Year


The Limited trim has received new 18-inch polished aluminium wheels. Other than this, most of the lineup remains the same as last year.

Infotainment and Technology Features


A 10.15-inch touchscreen display is standard for the Limited and above trims, with a screen resolution three times better than older versions. The same goes for the infotainment system -- Uconnect 5 for the Laredo and Altitude trims, and Uconnect 5 NAV for the rest, which also come with a one-year subscription for SiriusXM 360L. Features like GPS navigation and traffic services are only available for the Limited and above models. The Overland and Summit trims have a 9-speaker sound system, while lower trims have only six speakers. The flagship model has a 19-speaker Mcintosh audio system.

Exterior Design


The Altitude trim has an exclusive accent-colour shark fin antenna and gloss black exterior accents. All options have LED lighting, but only the Overland and above trims have low-high beam exterior lamps and platinum chrome exterior accents.

Interior Comfort and Cargo Space


The Grand Cherokee has three rows of seating, making it perfect for family road trips. You can also expand its cargo capacity considerably by folding the back seats. Despite differences in upholstery and adjustments, all models are comfortable and perfectly equipped for long journeys. If you choose the Overland or above trims, multi-colour interior LED lighting comes standard.

Performance Features


The 2024 Grand Cherokee comes with two options for the engine. The 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 is capable of 293 horsepower, 260 lb-ft of torque, and it comes with a towing capacity of 2,812 kg. The 5.7-litre V8 is much sturdier, with a towing capacity of 3,265 kg, 390 lb-ft of torque, and 357 horsepower. While the V6 is standard for all trims, the 5.7-litre V8 is a class-exclusive optional.

Safety and Driver Assistance Features


Jeep went the extra mile regarding safety, packing more than 110 features in this lineup. Parking is a breeze with rear backup cameras and an array of parking assists, like ParkSense and dynamic gridlines. All passengers are surrounded by airbags. Standard features common to all models include adaptive cruise control, blindspot monitoring, electronic stability control, and forward collision warning, making the new Grand Cherokee the safest vehicle in its class.
