Biggest Upgrades from the Previous Year
While the design and muscles remained the same, the tech part has been significantly improved, chiefly the infotainment system. The whole tech part is managed by Uconnect 5, with thrice the memory and screen resolution and a four times faster processor. There are upgrades on the rearview mirror with tow mode and a Trailer 360° Surround View Camera, with park-sense included.

There’s a lot of internal space for all trims of the new Ram 2500. Additionally, the trims Limited and Limited Longhorn come with leather upholstery; vinyl and bucket seats are also available. All trims have mobile compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The exterior design hasn’t changed much since the 2022 version. The 2023 Ram 2500 remains a large and muscular pickup truck with plenty of cargo space. The cargo box is waterproof, well-lit, drainable, and with a remote lock. There’s also a 115v outlet to plug and charge your devices.
Technology, Infotainment, and Connectivity
This year’s lineup comes equipped with Uconnect 5, a top-notch infotainment system. The system is controlled via a 30.48cm touchscreen between the front seats.
It allows for more customization than the previous version and also comes with enhanced memory and processor capacity. The Limited and Limited Longhorn comes with a premium Harman Kardon sound system, with 17 speakers and a subwoofer.
Safety and Driver-Assistance Features
It has never been safer to drive a Ram 2500: the new version has more than 100 safety features, including a well-rounded set of driving assists. All trims of the 2023 lineup come with a trailer 360° surround view camera, blindspot view with turn signal activated, and a CHMSL Cargo View Camera, improving safety in the cargo area.
Driving assists include ESC, trailer sway control, trailer reverses steering control, tire pressure monitoring, and an integrated trailer brake controller.
