2023 Jeep Gladiator

The Jeep Gladiator comes from a long line of dependable but tough trucks. It is one of the most capable off-road trucks in Jeep’s portfolio. The Gladiator has an authentic Jeep design, made to handle a rugged outdoor lifestyle while offering style and comfort.

The 2023 Jeep Gladiator offers some safety and entertainment updates with the user in mind.

What’s New for 2023

There are quite a few changes to the variety of trims. The Willys model now comes standard with keyless proximity unlocking, remote start and garage door opener, and a 17 cm instrument cluster. And the High Velocity colour option replaces Snazzberry.

The High Altitude model now comes with a capability package, which includes steel rock rails, a front off-road camera, and a winch-capable front bumper.

There’s a Freedom Limited Edition that offers unique exterior features including LED headlamps and fog lamps. It also has winch-capable front and rear steel bumpers and steel rock rails. It also has body-coloured fender flares, black wheels, and leather-trimmed seats with black accent stitching.

Features and Specs

The 2023 Jeep Gladiator offers quality safety features to keep drivers and passengers safe. It can get adaptive cruise control, rear parking sensors, and blind spot monitoring, to name a few. The Rubicon model comes standard with a front camera, as well.

Performance, Off-Road and Towing Capacity

The 2023 Jeep Gladiator has a 3.6-litre V-6 engine. You’ll get 285 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque and can choose between an eight-speed automatic or six-speed manual transmission.

All the models are well-equipped for off-road work, with some differences. For example, the Rubicon can handle rougher terrains, while the Mojave is a faster vehicle. Maximum towing capacity is 3,400kg.

You can choose between a gas or diesel option, offering around 6 km per 100 L in the city and about 9.5 km per 100L on the open road. The transmission type doesn’t make a big difference in the fuel economy of the Gladiator.

Models and Pricing

The 2023 Jeep Gladiator isn’t cheap, but you get what you pay for. The sports S model starts at $53,990. Other models are the Willys, Overland, High Altitude, Mojave and Rubicon. You can expect to pay $62,690 for the basic Rubicon model.

Each model has its own niche, with some handling rocky terrain better while others are more well-suited to sandy areas. The Gladiator is the ultimate off-road vehicle, regardless of which model and trim you choose.
