The SUV can be bought in seven gas version models: Laredo, Altitude, Limited, Trailhawk, Overland, Summit, and Summit Reserve. Laredo’s price starts at $52,545, and at the top of the range, Summit Reserve’s price starts at $79,340.

You can also now purchase the hybrid 4xe in five models: 4xe, Trailhawk, Overland, Summit, and Summit Reserve. Pricing for 4xe starts at $75,195, and the top trim Summit Reserve starts at $89,295.

Engine Performance

The 2022 Grand Cherokee Laredo, Altitude, and Limited trim come standard with a 3.6-litre V6 engine. This engine is substantially powerful as it can produce a maximum torque of 260 lb-ft and 293 hp. You can also take the option to upgrade the engine to a 2.0-litre hybrid. All models except the Laredo can be upgraded.

The hybrid engine has a maximum power capability of 375 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. If you want the even larger and more powerful 5.7-litre engine, you can upgrade the Trailhawk, Overland, and Summit models to a 5.7-litre V8. The V8 engine can produce 357 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque.

All models include Jeep’s signature Quadra-Trac system. This system continuously senses changing terrain conditions. It automatically transfers more torque to the wheels where it senses more power is needed.

Technology

You’ll find that all 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK models have standard tech features, including a 26cm instrument cluster, audio cruise controls, and a Uconnect 5 infotainment centre built into a 21.3cm touchscreen. Other standard tech includes USB ports and Apple and Android integration. Purchasing the Overland, Summit, and Summit Reserve will give you additional upgrades, including GPS navigation, a nine-speaker McIntosh audio system with a 560-watt amplifier and a subwoofer.
